Doc Adams 1838 First Vines McLaren Vale 2016 Shiraz is a big but sophisticated and generous red wine made from grapes grown on 73-103 year old vines, and matured in 5 year old French, American, and Russian oak for 2 years.

There are bold and concentrated flavours of dark chocolate, cracker pepper, and liquorice. It is a perfect match to Cheese, steak, and game.


    Our 1838 First Vines McLaren Vale 2016 Shiraz is made from 100% McLaren Vale Grapes. This bold and structured full-bodied red wine is rich with layered flavours of dark berries, dark chocolate, spices, fennel, cedar with firm but elegant tannins adding to the complex finish.

    It has a rich and textured mouthfeel with a soft tannin finish. It is a great companion to cheese, pan-fried sirloin, venison, tandoori lamb, or kangaroo.
