Tasting Notes
Quattro Vitigni is a white blend made from McLaren Vale wine grapes. "Quattro Vitigni" is an Italian translation for "4 varieties" - The grape varieties of Chardonnay (70%), Savagnin (10%), Sauvignon Blanc (10%) and Pinot Gris (10%) have been blended for complexity and fruitiness.
Aroma
Complexities of passionfruit, grapefruit and slight oak .
Palate
On the palate it has roundness and richness. Whilst very fruity, there is a creamy texture and element to it, which derives from the oak (Chardonnay component has had 2 months barrel ferment).
Cellaring
It is an ideal on any occasion and will develop over a two to three year period as hits of French oak (10%) have been used to bring longevity and length to the palate.
