Our blend is Grenache 70% Shiraz 15% Mouvedre 15%.

James Halliday Tasting Review - Rating 94: The Hogarth painting of binge drinking revelry by men old enough to know better is a bold label ploy in these nanny State days. The wine fully deserved its gold medal at the McLaren Vale Wine Show '12, rippling with red fruits, dark chocolate and supple tannins, its balance and structure excellent.

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Deep red crimson in colour with a slight dark purple haze. Its aroma is complex and appears spicy and fruit-like. Full of flavour, but not too heavy – with incredible smoothness and finesse. Like the aroma, it shows fruit sweetness and is complex, with hints of cinnamon spice and caramel oak.
Winemaker Notes
A blend of three great McLaren Vale varieties and soft lovely fruit flavours.
Food Pairing Notes
Steaks, braises and stews, even roasts of pork or lamb.
