2013 Quattro Vitigni

"The 2013 Doc Adams Quattro Vitigni is a superb, fresh and fruity white blend"

Quattro Vitigni is a white blend made from McLaren Vale wine grapes. "Quattro Vitigni" is an Italian translation for "4 varieties", and that is what's been utilised with this impressive wine. The grape varieties of Chardonnay (70%), Savagnin (10%), Sauvignon Blanc (10%) and Pinot Gris (10%) have been blended for complexity and fruitiness.

Tasting Notes
The 2013 Doc Adams Quattro Vitigni is a straw colour that has heaps of aroma leaping from the glass. Aroma complexities of Passionfruit, banana and sweet fruits bound from within and then the transfer equally impresses. On the palate it has roundness and richness. Whilst very fruity its acidity is slight making the wine very distinct to other white wines.
Winemaker Notes
This wine blend is very interesting and always slightly developing, its great cellaring, and has a rich savoury finish.
Food Pairing Notes
This wine is perfect with fish and chicken dishes, even light pastas too.
