2015 1838 Shiraz

The 1838 wine is a dedication to the First Vines planted in McLaren Vale, in the year of 1838. Doc Adams would like to celebrate and honour those who had the vision for our Viticultural heritage, and we pay respect to this inaugural and traditional wine.

As Doc Adams premium icon wine, we are expecting big things from this wine! The grapes for this wine are a 2015 vintage of old-vines, 100+ years old. Doc Adams is proud to present this wine to you, and we look forward to hearing about the great times had whilst consuming this beauty!

Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
The 1838 Premium Icon Shiraz is ‘big, rich and robust.’ It’s black in colour which typifies the wine made from very old vines. The 1838 present’s initial aromas of sweet coconut oak. It presents intense flavours of dark coffee and smoky charcoal hues combined with concentrated berries. The powerful flavours dance long on the palate for a memorable indulgence!
